NICHE Award Winner 2007

Olympia Creations has won the 2007 Niche Awards in the Fiber: Clothing cateogry, for the Aphrodite Empire Dress . More than 1,000 submissions were considered in 36 categories, with entries judged on the basis of technical excellence, market viability and distinct quality of unique, original and creative thought. The winners were announced Feb. 18 at the Buyers Market of American Craft, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The NICHE Awards program began in 1990 to recognize the outstanding creative achievements of American craft artists who produce work for art galleries and craft retailers. The awards are sponsored by NICHE magazine, the exclusive trade publication for North American retailers of American craft.
